The hair is honestly only one part of the job. 👀

There’s a whole lot that comes with being a stylist that you don’t really see from the other side of the chair.

Learning how to communicate, manage your time, set boundaries, run a business and deal with people properly… that stuff matters just as much.

Can you believe this used to be box dye BLACK?!

We’ve finally got our healthy blondie 🤌🏼 but believe me, it did NOT happen overnight.

Going from black box dye to blonde takes time, patience and knowing when to stop pushing the hair.

This is why I’ll always choose healthy hair over rushing the process. The end result is so much better when you give the hair the time it needs.

What if being fully booked, working more and constantly pushing for the next level isn’t actually the version of success you want?

It’s so easy to get caught up in what a “successful” stylist is supposed to look like that you forget to ask yourself if you even want that life.

More clients. More hours. More money. More.

But at what point does more stop feeling like success and start feeling like burnout?

I don’t think you have to hate your job to prove you’re ambitious.

Not everything needs to be blonde from root to end.

A darker root + lighter ends is one of my favourite ways to wear blonde. You still get all that brightness through the lengths, but the root keeps it softer, more lived-in and way less high maintenance.

Basically… blonde without having to be in the salon every five minutes 😉

Hot take: I’d rather give you a colour that still looks good 8–12 weeks later than one that looks amazing for only the first two.

A good colour isn’t just about how it looks when you leave the salon. It’s about how it fades, how your regrowth comes through and whether you actually like your hair a few weeks down the track.

Pretty on day one is great.
Pretty with a little grow-out? Even better. 🤎

Big bouncy balayage 🤎

The colour, the curls, the volume… I mean 🔥

There’s a lot more that goes into your appointment than the time you’re sitting in the chair.

You’re paying for professional products, years of education, experience, technique and the time it takes to get your hair right, not just someone picking up a pair of scissors or a colour brush.

Especially when it comes to big colour changes, blondes or anything that takes multiple hours. There’s a reason some services cost more than others.

Good hair takes time, skill and the right products. 🖤

A classic updo will always have a place 🤎

Sleek, polished and out of your face, sometimes you just can’t beat it.

Here are a few things the beauty industry has “glamorised” that I refuse to fall for. 🖤

Watch me create this super fun braided bun!

Love when my clients bring me inspo that’s a little different 🖤

Fresh colour, fresh bob 🤎

Sometimes you don’t need a huge change, just a good refresh. Cleaned up the shape, freshened up the colour and she’s good to go.

Ditch the traditional updo for your next event 👀

Not everyone wants a slick bun or a super structured up style and you don’t have to!

Got an event coming up? DM us and we’ll help you find a style you’ll actually love wearing 💬

Proof that you can have healthy, long blonde hair 🤍

It just takes the right colour, regular trims and actually looking after it between appointments.

You don’t have to sacrifice length to be blonde 👏🏼

A little face framing can make such a difference 🤍

Keeping the rest of the colour a little more natural, but adding those lighter pieces around the face makes the whole head look so much blonder without actually going full blonde.

One of my favourite ways to brighten things up 🙌🏻

Being booked out sounds amazing… until you’re working back-to-back all day, running behind, skipping lunch and feeling like you can’t take a day off.

There’s so much pressure in the hair industry to be constantly booked, but being busy doesn’t always mean your business is healthy.

Having space in your books doesn’t mean you’re failing. Sometimes it means you have time to breathe, give your clients your full attention and actually enjoy the job you worked so hard to build.

Booked out isn’t the only version of success.

A little colour refresh and a good chop 🤎

We freshened up the colour, knocked out those brassy tones and cleaned up the cut. Nothing too drastic, just bringing everything back to looking fresh again.
